The Gaeia Manchester Sermon with Audrey Niffenegger
Thursday, 16 October, 2014 – 7.30pm
We are thrilled that Chicago-based writer and visual artist Audrey Niffenegger will be delivering the 5th Manchester Sermon, reflecting on ethical issues of the day. Her debut novel, The Time Traveler’s Wife, was an international bestseller that has been translated into 40 languages. Her other books include Her Fearful Symmetry and the graphic novels The Three Incestous Sisters, The Adventuress and The Night Bookmobile. Her illustrated novella, Raven Girl, was recently adapted into a ballet by Wayne McGregor for the Royal Opera House. One of our most imaginative authors, she frequently explores dreams, desire, love, death, myths, fables and storytelling in her work. This event is sponsored by Gaeia, ethical financial advisers based in Manchester.
