It’s spring and a young woman is feeling down. It rains constantly. She buys shoes, finds a kitten, writes a story featuring a character called Mr. Rain. Somehow none of this makes her feel any better.
Spring was a collaboration with Marilyn Sward, who made the paper at her log cabin studio in St. Germaine, Wisconsin. We printed the lithographs at Anchor Graphics in Chicago. Spring was made in an edition of 100.
